Week 2: Plenty of rookies among the Bears inactives vs. Vikings
The Bears’ list of inactives remains full of rookies for the second week in a row.
Rookies receiver Marquess Wilson, cornerback C.J. Wilson, running back Michael Ford, defensive end David Bass and defensive tackle Zach Minter are among the inactives for Sunday’s game against the Vikings. They were all inactive in Week 1 against the Bengals.
Offensive tackle Jonathan Scott and guard James Brown also are inactive. Center Taylor Boggs got the nod over Brown for the second game in a row.
Scott was recently re-signed with tight end Kyle Adams being cut to make room for him.
The only difference from the Bears’ 46-man active roster in Week 1 is that veteran tight end Dante Rosario took the place of Adams.
For the Vikings, defensive tackle Kevin Williams, as expected, is active after sitting out last week with a knee injury.
