Loyola Marymount transfer Gabe Levin to visit Northwestern
One of the West Coast Conference’s top freshmen last season is eying Northwestern as a possible transfer destination. Gabe Levin, a 6-7 forward who averaged 11.1 points and 7.1 rebounds per game last year as a freshman with Loyola Marymount, is scheduled to visit the Wildcats on June 8, a source told the Sun-Times.
Levin, who is from Oak Park, is also considering Marquette and Notre Dame, the source said.
Levin started 29 games for the Lions last season and was selected to the West Coast Conference’s All-Freshmen Team. He had six double-doubles on the season and scored in double figures in 19 games. On three difference occasions, Levin grabbed 14 rebounds.
