Hamstring makes Bears’ Wright questionable
Bears safety Major Wright suffered a minor hamstring pull during Friday’s practice, placing his availability for Sunday’s game against the Vikings in question.
“I don’t know where he’s at right now,” coach Marc Trestman said. “That’s all I know right now. I talked to him afterwards — he said he felt pretty good. These things, we’ll have to see where he is (Saturday).”
If Wright can’t play, safety Craig Steltz — who hasn’t played more than four defensive downs in a game this season — would take his place.
“You prepare every week, whether something’s wrong or not,” Steltz said. “If there’s something that’s wrong, you have to be ready.”
