Cornerback Charles Tillman briefly leaves game after feeling sick
Bears cornerback Charles Tillman left for one defensive series of the team’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals after feeling sick on the sidelines. On Tillman’s last play before leaving the game, he was thrown down hard after a long interception return.
He returned to the game for the Bears’ last defensive series of the half.
During Tillman’s absense, Bengals receiver A.J. Green caught a 45-yard touchdown pass. Green and Tillman had been battling all game. Tim Jennings slid over to cover Green and Isaiah Frey and Zack Bowman both played on that series in Tillman’s place.
Tillman also had an interception in the first quarter that led to the Bears’ only score of the game.
