Pitchfork Music Festival finalizes 2013 lineup
Since the intrigue and amazement of their February headliner announcement — Bjork, Belle & Sebastian and (yegods) R. Kelly — the rest of the 2013 Pitchfork Music Festival lineup has been piecing itself together. Today, the festival announced the final round of acts.
Things just got good.
Some of the names added today include Pissed Jeans, Solange, Frankie Rose, Low and M.I.A., plus several great bands we just saw at SXSW, including Parquet Courts, Merchandise, Waxahatchee and the widely celebrated Savages. Veteran acts represent, too, such as Wire and Yo La Tengo.
The full three-day lineup now is here:
Belle & Sebastian
The Breeders (playing “Last Splash”)
…And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead
Yo La Tengo
Toro Y Moi
Autre Ne Veut
Three-day passes ($120) and single-day tickets ($50) are available now. Three-day passes are available for a special layaway program that allows fans to purchase the pass in three installments.
